Many brands today make baseless sustainability claims, wrapped in perfect language but backed by very little in reality. We'd rather be transparent to our customers who are shopping at blankedstudios.com.

BlankedStudios is still a small business. Large-scale sustainability programs are, at this stage, beyond what we can do. What we can do is be deliberate about the things within our reach.

MATERIALS

We work with our manufacturers to recycle as much aluminum as possible. Because many of our products are machine-milled or laser-cut, we have the flexibility to recycle more freely.

Our walnut is sourced ethically from reliable suppliers. Some, though not all, offcuts are used for in-house samples rather than discarded.

LONGEVITY

Everything we make is built to last a lifetime. You buy it once and you use it forever. This is reflected in our attention to craftsmanship, quality, and the materials we choose. We consider it the most meaningful sustainability claim we can make.

Should you ever want to part with a BlankedStudios product, its materials are readily recyclable at the appropriate depots in your local district.

PACKAGING

Our packaging is made from recycled kraft paper. The foam, however, is not. We are actively looking for a solution that is both environmentally friendly and protects your BlankedStudios purchase to the same standard.

OUR OFFICES

Our offices run on LED lighting and efficient HVAC, with smart monitoring across the building. The team is conscious about turning off lights and equipment, and committed to proper recycling in our daily practice.

As we grow, this page will grow with it. For now, I didn't want to create false claims for the sake of marketing.
